The Problem: New homes today are built tighter than in the past and as a result, indoor air quality has become an increasingly important factor. People spend over 90% of their time indoors and 98% of respondents to a recent survey indicated that they are concerned about home air and water quality.
How long will it take?
Most jobs take 1-2 days to complete, but variables to consider are:
- Length of time problem has existed
- Number of floors effected by problem
- Amount of air movement in building
- Total square footage of affected area
Is contamination still off-gassing or cresting odors? (If so, maintenance units
may be needed for desired effect)
Before the treatment it will be
necessary to:
- Evacuate all People and Pets
- Notify any potential visitors (maids, housekeepers, caregivers, etc.) of the time,
date and duration of our purification work.
- Remove Plants
Re-Entry & More Info
- You may re-enter approximately 1 hour after we have left.
- Bedding - Should you desire to treat your bedding while the house is being treated,
remove all bedding from the mattresses, including the mattress pad or cover. Drape
the bedding over chairs, doors, etc. so that the purifiacation can penetrate all textiles,
in order to kill the dust mites and other microorganisms.
- Closets/Drawers - Open closet doors to their widest point to maximize
purification circulation within the closet.
